The Boathouse Swanwick
Project Overview
Bourne Furniture supplied all furniture for The Boathouse at Swanwick Marina, a vibrant waterfront venue designed for relaxed dining and socialising.
The brief
Supply dining, lounge, and bar furniture for the newly refurbished restaurant and bar
Reflect the relaxed, nautical-inspired design scheme
Provide durable, high-quality furniture suitable for a high-traffic hospitality environment
Deliver and install within a tight project timeline
The challenge
The venue’s compact layout required precise planning to maximise seating without compromising comfort or flow. Our installation team coordinated deliveries carefully to ensure a seamless fit within the tight marina location.
Our approach
We worked closely with the client team to ensure every piece supported the venue’s coastal aesthetic and functional needs. Natural wood finishes, woven textures, and soft upholstery tones were selected to bring warmth and comfort to the space while maintaining a modern, stylish look.
Our work
Supplied dining chairs, bar stools, and solid oak tables
Coordinated materials and finishes to match the interior design concept
Delivered and installed all furniture on schedule, ensuring a smooth handover
The result
A relaxed, welcoming space that captures the essence of contemporary coastal dining. The Boathouse combines craftsmanship, comfort, and style — perfectly suited to its scenic marina backdrop.
